Taking inspiration from the Renaissance technique inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's ‘sfumato’ that creates a rare, original colour, the edges, hand painted by highly skilled craftsmen, gradually darkens the navy colour as it imperceptibly passes from one shade to another.
