Utilizing the Urushi technique of 'Irogasane Sabinuri', the pen boasts a unique aesthetic. The pen is Equipped with Sailor's renowned bi-colour 21k gold nib in the King of Pens size.
Crafted by Urushi artist Wayo Shimamori, the Wabi Sabi series embodies the ancient Japanese spiritual concept, combining the tranquility of 'Wabi' and the visual beauty of 'Sabi', celebrating imperfection and the "flow of life".Derived from East Asian trees that take 15 years to mature, the Urushi lacquer applied to the ebonite pen undergoes meticulous craftsmanship, resulting in a waterproof and exceptionally durable lustrous finish.
The fountain pen is accompanied by a Sailor proprietary converter, ink cartridge, pen sleeve, and cleaning cloth. This limited-edition masterpiece is individually numbered out of 50 pieces and is exclusively available through authorized Sailor Bespoke dealers.
