The Meisterstück 'Around The World In 80 Days' collection is inspired by the famous adventure novel by Jules Verne. The collection includes the LeGrand Rollerball pen, which is crafted with anthracite precious resin. This particular pen draws inspiration from the second leg of the journey, which takes the main characters from Bombay to Yokohama.
On the cap of the pen, you can find a cartouche featuring a depiction of a majestic elephant, symbolising the mode of transportation used during this part of the adventure. The clip of the pen is adorned with a red lacquered diamond card suit. Additionally, the cone of the pen is intricately engraved with a pattern inspired by Princess Aouda's jewellery and the card suits. This design represents Mr. Fogg's wager to complete the entire journey in 80 days.
The cap top is embossed with the length of the journey, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total. These details and design elements come together to create a pen that captures the spirit and essence of the adventure described in Jules Verne's novel.
