In tribute to the legendary 849 pen, Caran d'Ache launched the 849 Goldbar. The 849 is dressed in light and asserts itself as a safe bet par excellence. Faithful to the legend, this model will win the hearts of all collectors in search of an emblematic souvenir of Switzerland.
Retaining all the qualities that made the 849 so popular, the Goldbar is adorned with the most coveted noble metal. Dressed in gold, the chic 849 Goldbar is perfectly in tune with the times. Its satin gold coloured silhouette is the result of a combination of several processes and its appointments are adorned with three microns of gold.
The original case brings to mind precious ingots stored in the best kept safes. Designed in continuity with the pen, the rectangular metal gift box is crafted with 3D sculpting and permanently preserves the imprint of the hexagonal 849. The fine writing instrument is supplied with a Medium Blue Goliath refill which can write for up to 600 A4 pages.
