The series depicts the depth of space from the matte black precious resin to the black ruthenium-coated forepart and fittings. The patented StarWalker emblem technology, featuring the floating Montblanc emblem in a translucent dome, takes pride of place atop the cap. The fountain pen is fitted with a black ruthenium-coated Au585/14k gold nib. This pen uses ink cartridges.
